This chair was designed and rendered on Rhino, and then translated to a 2D pattern template to be laser cut on cardboard. The goal of this project was to design a chair from cardboard that would support my weight, but that didn’t require multiple layers of reinforcement. Although the goal was to support my weight, the chair was designed to be a child’s reading chair.
