Design & photography for brands, publications, and people.
Spence Taylor
I majored in Business Management at Dalhousie University. After a few years of working in various managerial roles at different organizations, I realized I wanted to follow my passion and set out on a different path. I am now in my second year of studies at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, where I am majoring in Industrial design. Being in school provides me with an opportunity to continue to develop and refine my creative process and learn new tools and techniques for accomplishing specific tasks.
I balance my professional work with personal creative work, like street photography and sneaker/fashion customization. I am a freelance photographer, and I specialize in business/product and fashion photography. I work hard to produce images that not only are beautiful, but that tell stories in a provocative and meaningful way.
I have a multi-disciplinary approach to design and creative problem solving, and thoroughly enjoy bringing projects to life. No matter the medium, I am confident in my ability to create solutions that achieve the goals of any project I take on. My process is heavily rooted in iteration, where I continue to develop and refine my work until it satisfies the goals of the project. Ultimately, my process is a balance of efficiency and innovation.
At this stage in my professional development, I am taking on projects of all kinds. I thrive in collaborative and chaotic environments, and I feel most inspired when I can share the interests of those around me and create things that others can be passionate about. I want to create memorable work, and I am eager to learn more about your ideas.
